Apollo should take somewhere around 100 - 150 stones (overestimation) while Midnighter should finish up at around 80 stones (he is rather, human, with no overly-powerful superpowers).
yes, i'm back. for five minutes. i'm not really sure when my damned phone line will get back up, so i can barely post for the past few months.
shingetter, i seem to be unable to log-in properly to your proboards -- whenever i try to log myself in, the site accepts me, but when i start to access other parts (profiles, messages, posting, etc) the site refuses to let me in, stating that i need to register or log-in before i can use the board. looking at the other screens that i access after logging-in, i find instead of my username, i'm being referred to as "guest". (this also happens to my other proboards account).
what do i need to do?
(btw, i intend to join both marvel and final fantasy zero, as soon as my phone line goes back up)

Hm... I thought that Bbn was the acronym. That's the case in the DMG, anyway.
I agree with the wraith though. We're pretty messed up in a lot of cases. As a GM, I've seen the group flounder about thanks to some rebellious individuals (Wraith and Monkey). But when combat comes, they tend to be like an oiled machine: prone to slippage but otherwise smooth.
As for the PbP in Between Realms, I was planning to join in but I have quite a bit of work to do in RL. When things have simmered down, I'll look at what characters are available.

Temple of Elemental Evil
Yup, barbarian's acronym is Bar. It just caught us off guard, especially since no one in Manticor plays a bard (except PJ). On a side note, the Barbarian class was never underrated...
And yes, despite being disorganized (I tell you the group's alignment is chaotic!), the group usually gets things done (we usually trust each other to do their thing and not get in the other person's way). At least for most opponents...
Complete Warrior
Looks interesting (despite a lot of reprints), and it has finally what Carlos has been looking for: a rage mage, which includes reducing spell failure and casting spells while in a rage.

BWAHAHAHAH! The power of Manticor compels you... to DIE!!!
Which one of us is the Bard? Not the Monkey I'm sure...

I dislike Midnight's emphasis on elves but then, I dislike elves in general. I agree with your opinion on the magic system. Its a far cry from the Vancian magic we see on D&D. One of us oughta do a Midnight adventure or something, though I feel a campaign would capture more flavor and fun.
To answer your question: Yes. I'll be coming for Christmas and January. I talked to Kitty concerning our major plans for celebration/gaming.
The last thing I want is a peniless wraith. But if you must know, the books that I'm craving for are the Book of Exalted Deeds and the Miniature's handbook. The Draconomicon is interesting, but I don't like using dragons as much as I do Undead and Demons. I hope they come out with a book for both eventually.
Does that make me Orcus?

Arcana Unearthed
Slave has a copy of Arcana Unearthed somewhere, courtesy of me.
Midnight
Find the setting so-so, more of a "what-if" campaign setting rather than something wholly original. It's low-magic though (for the PCs) but it's thumbs-up for allowing any character to access magic via feats (although you need a lot of feats to get the whole repertoire). The progression though for your PCs (bonuses depending on your level, regardless of class) is neat and makes up for the character's lack of access to magic (which I think where the guys doing Exalted Deeds got the idea for the benefits of the Vow of Poverty feat).
Grades
I'm impressed at Slave, coming to school without both his ID (he had to run off to file for a temporary one) and advisement slip (a quick trip to his department). As for me knowing all that, well...
And Nim's return trip here during the summer finally has its repercussions since Arsenal Fierce flunked two of his subjects, and it's no coincidence that the days they fell on were Tuesdays/Thursdays, gaming days when Nim was last here. Which reminds me, coming back this Christmas Nim? Any gaming books you want me to get you here?
RPG Game
Strangely enough, it was my Warmage character that took out most of the opposition Lost sent us. Took out a couple of goblins with my sleep spell, and hit the Orc leader with the Warmage's magic missile (with a +2 damage to Intelligence). Other than that, the game started six hours late. There's no lack of clerics though. But strangely enough, the main hitter is a monk, and the next best combatant is probably the ranger with the bow.

I borrowed Midnight from a friend. It's an excellent setting though I haven't tried out the mechanics. I could do a review if you want, but I think that guy on the AEGIS ML said it better than I could've done. Hey Sauron, check out Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed as well. System-wise, it's awesome. And the setting is pretty kewl too. If I owned the book, I'd be making a lot of changes to my own setting.
